IT Infrastructure Support Manager

As the IT Infrastructure Support Manager, you will be responsible for the management and development of a small team of Infrastructure Systems Administrators across multiple locations that oversee the infrastructure helpdesk as well as monitoring, security and management of core IT systems across the CPM group.

This is a fast-paced and challenging role where you will also be responsible for ensuring that standards are maintained for Incident, Service Request and Change Management processes. You will be required to work closely with the IT Support & Security Management functions to ensure the IT Infrastructure Support is aligned with the support and security aspects of the overall IT function.

Accountabilities:

  • Over-see all technical support operations via the Helpdesk to ensure any Incidents and Service requests are managed effectively by the Infrastructure support team. The smooth delivery and operation should be demonstrated by utilizing key metrics and KPI’s.

  • Enforcement of a delivery framework with rigorous Change Control that includes preparing for the weekly CAB to facilitate the successful deployment and maintenance of core IT systems.

  • Defining and ensuring the correct protocols are in place for managing infrastructure assets throughout their entire lifecycle and ensuring these are accurately recorded in the asset management platform as well as in OneTrust.

  • Ensuring the ongoing monitoring of backups across the group as well as triage & remediation of any wider monitoring alerts (e.g. SolarWinds) are swiftly triaged and actioned. This includes remediation of any non-compliant systems in relation to standard security Software (S1, AlienVault etc)

  • Initial investigation and remediation of vulnerabilities that are reported via Outpost 24.

  • Ensure all equipment maintenance contracts are renewed and kept up to date across the group.

  • Contribute to the overall IT strategy to provide cost-effective, robust, enterprise-grade technology solutions that are tailored to meet CPM’s requirements.

  • Act as a point of contact for IT Support escalations but also act as an interface to bridge the IT Infrastructure Operations and Support Functions.

  • Contribute to a wide-ranging portfolio of projects that are aligned to Omnicom standards.

  • Provide input to IT Operations annual budget, leveraging technology, standards and automation to deliver cost-effective and up-to-date technology solutions.

  • Respond to client questionnaires and contribute to audit’s as required.

  • Contribute to and implement BCP protocols as required

  • Responsible for the management, training and development of IT Infrastructure support staff

  • Ensuring efficient communication and alert channels are in place

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience in managing an IT team that is spread across multiple international locations

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to communicate complex technical solutions in a clear and concise manner.

  • Good knowledge of project management principles

  • Excellent understanding of network, server and cloud technologies

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure (WAN, LAN, WLAN), core server (Microsoft) and Cloud Technologies (Azure/AWS)

  • ISO-27001 experience; PCI DSS experience and AZ-900 or AWS Foundation would be an advantage
